Maria Bamford

This is a portrait I did for Maria Bamford, one of my top 5 favourite comedians, I was going to say my #1 favourite female comedian, but I realized that fact isn't even relevant. Maria is a joy to listen to because her odd ball fantasy world of creepy voices and imaginary monsters is so similar to my wacky sense of the world.
I met Maria in the audience of a Comedy Death Ray show in Vancouver in 2007, I gave her the original of this drawing, she was super nice and even put the coloured version up on her website:
